Bees have one of the most immense and taxing jobs in the whole world which is, pollinating the world. Bees originated in Africa but have spread all around the world and are pretty much domesticated now. Also, bees usually do best in tropical climates and prefer to live in habitats like, gardens, woodlands, orchards, and meadows.
Bees live in colonies which are like our cities and in each colony, there is a hive (or more) all controlled by a queen. All the bees within a colony work together to keep their hive healthy, supply for the queen, and keep the hive able to sustain the future generation of bees. Finally, there are about 20,000 different species of bees and over 100 million hives located all around the world.
